Sea of Cortez Harvest

There is a fishing village, or more like a station, in the La Pinta estuary. La Pinta is part of the north Sea of Cortez, east of Puerto Peñasco. The fishermen fish for different species at different times of the year. We visited at the end of April 2018 and they were harvesting Caracol Rosada (Pink-mouthed Murex, Hexaplex erythrosquamous) and Chiluda (Cortez geoduck or Gooey duck, Panopea globosa).
